Air Force Control Options
The Basic Load Positioning and
Balancing System
- The load is balanced by adjusting the air
regulator.
- The operator can precisely position the
load with little effort over the entire rated
cable travel (up to 5 ft.).
- Loads are instantly raised or lowered
manualy, no hoist controls are required.
- Hand grip with a locking load release
switch is provided for removing or applying
cable tension. This permits releasing a
positioned load or retrieving a new load
without fighting cable tension. When
reapplying cable tension the system will
always resume the Last set lifting force.
- Load remains balanced wherever positioned.
- Used for AF1,2,3.

A Load Positioning and Balancing
System with a Remote Control Handle
- For controlling physically large size loads when
access to controls attached to the load cable is
limited.
- A control handle is provided with only LIFT and
LOWER momentary switches included.
- Cable tension is increased or decreased by depressing either switch and thus balancing the load. Air
pressure can be observed on the pressure gauge
mounted on the control box.
- Once the load is balanced, the operator can position
the load manually with little effort over the entire
rated cable travel (up to 5 ft.).
- Load remains balanced wherever positioned.
- Cable tension is released by depressing the LOWER
switch until the pressure gauge reads zero.
- The LIFT and LOWER switches can also be used as
hoist controls.
- Used for AF2,3 - add suffix "R" to model number.

A Basic Load Positioning and Balancing
System with Added Hoist Controls
- All features of the basic system are main
tained.
- LIFT and LOWER switches are added to the
load release handle so that the system can
be used as a hoist. When either switch is (
released, the preset balancing force is
automatically reapplied.
- The features of manual positioning, load
balancing, load release and fail-safe operation are all applicable.
- Used for AF1 ,2,3 - add suffix "H" to model
number.

A Load Positioning and Balancing
System with Automatic Balance Control
- For lifting and positioning different loads with
varying weights on a continuous basis.
- A control handle attached to the load cable is
provided which contains two momentary switches -
BALANCE/LIFT and LOWER.
- Pressing and releasing the BALANCE/LIFT switch
gradually increases the cable tension until the load is
approximately balanced. The cable tension can be
incrementally increased or decreased by depressing
either switch.
- Once the load is balanced, the operator can position
the load manually with little effort over the entire
rated cable travel (up to 5 ft.).
- Cable tension is released by depressing the LOWER
switch until the pressure gauge on the control box
read zero.
- Used for AF2,3 - add suffix "A" to model number.
